My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Looking for an old "it will be fine" thread

Does anyone remember an old thread (maybe on Kitchens) that showed an inspiration kitchen juxtaposed to the not-so-lovely new kitchen result?

The gist of the post was along the lines of: they used that material but I'll use this and it will be fine.

They used that color but I'll use this color and it will be fine.

In the end it was not fine.

I think it was posted by one of the big guns. Buehl? Funcolors/Lori?

This is not a metaphor for the current houzz situation, I'd just like to find it before it slips away forever.
