Wall mounting/night stand reading lights

My husband and I are going through Grand remodel of our traditional house into modern. We have a dilemma on reading lights. We are considering these WAC Lighting [Link to the light on Houzz[(https://www.houzz.com/products/wac-lighting-bl-1021r-tt-flip-led-swing-arm-prvw-vr~63301448)- as hardwired on either side of the bed. However, behind our beds will be installed three large panels of thin tile from ceiling to floor 120"x 120" with the image of Lotus flowers, taking all the space. I prefer to install the lights on the wall, but it means drill through the nice tile, which my husband object strongly. I do not like to have light on the bedside table, because it takes too much space and than all the wires and plug- ins are annoying too. Pendants are out of consideration. What is the suggestion of a professional designer how to install these lights so it is good to use and not invasive on the art on the wall. Should it be more on the side or top of the bed? I would really appreciate the suggestions of those who installed these or very similar lights and pictures of the final look.

Thank you
