Need help for colour

This is quite a big fireplace. It takes up half of a wall in the living room. Was there when we bought the house. It is in tones of grey and white. Hardwood floors and a large window, so nice and bright. Grey is not my favourate colour. Do I have to paint the walls grey to match the fireplace? Thanks for any help.

Your fireplace is stunning! Is the tile marble? You don't have to paint the walls gray at all. If you're not happy with the white walls, try a beige similar to the paneling in the first pic: [houzz=

Gosh, you have great ideas. Tks! I will consider the bay house brown on the accent wall and a touch lighter on the other walls. Probably white ceiling and trims. Would this be nice?

It would be wonderful! Whatever color you go with, say the bay house brown for the accent wall, your paint store can reduce the color by 50% or even 75% for the other walls. That way it's all the same color but different shades.

All right. Now I know in which direction to to. Would you painte the ceiling and trims white? Thank you for the prompt response. The paint brush and rollers are waiting!

I would definitely do white, but off-white could also work. Try to match the trim in the rest of your house if it's painted.
