Mismatched bedroom

Having a lot of trouble finding a bedspread that works in this room.
I can't depict if its the carpet or wall color, but something in the room is throwing me off.
The current bed spread looks weird and washed out - its a honey/tan color, but doesn't match the headboard. The nightstands are a very dark espresso color.
