I recently bought a viburnum 'Cardinal Candy', and on the Proven Winners website they say to plant alongside a Tandoori Orange for best fruit results. Strangely enough, it's one of their new selections available! I wonder how much is hype and how much is reality. Anyone try the Tandoori Orange yet, paired with a Cardinal Candy, and have good results yet? Is it just too new a variety to have any reviews on? Any other viburnums known to work well with Cardinal Candy, as far as compatibility and flower time? I understand this year's fruit is hit or miss based on what other viburnums were in bloom at the nursery (it was blooming when I bought it) but curious about what might happen next year.
