You can use concrete pavers but they are most typically offered only in very geometric shapes (circles, squares, rectangles). I personally like recycled concrete, often available for free or a nominal cost from architectural salvage yards or any ongoing demo projects. The look is very similar to flagstone if laid correctly. I have used them in many hardscaping projects and the cost - or lack of it - cannot be beat!!
