Herbs disease - what is this?

Hi,

My herbs contracted some disease. Does anyone know what this is? Is it a fungus or spider mites or anything else? Stinging nettle lost a lot of leaves, it has only bare stems at the bottom. Remaining leaves have large yellow patches and the edges are black.

Mint has tiny yellow patches covering the entire plant and a microscopic black spots or mites.

you might want to isolate the mint .. quickly ..

i am no bug guru.. but the mint looks like classic spider mite damage .... lets see if anyone agrees ...

if you use these plants for food.. you are significantly limited as to cures ...

Thank you, Ken! It's very helpful. I will go to the garden center and buy some predatory mites. I hope it helps. And yes, I won't eat those herbs this season, but I am hoping that I can fix it now so that the mites do not increase next year. Thanks for the advice!
