Woolly Thyme vs Woolly Speedwell

last modified: 8 years ago

I have a drought-y Japanese garden and I'm looking for a groundcover for a full-sun area with rocky clay soil. I'm looking at woolly thyme and woolly speedwell. Which spreads faster? Which tolerates the most foot traffic? And which would be more drought-tolerant? (Or if you want to suggest an alternative, go for it!). Thanks in advance!
