Gorgeous! But just FYI, out on the posting list, your name shows up as "webuser_3906553." On this thread, I see "Izzy." Carol

Oh, sorry. I don't know what the list is called, the list of current post titles/discussions and author identities that I see when I select "Antique Roses." Carol

Thank you Portland. I thought there might have been something I was missing.

These roses are so fresh and lovely. Single roses certainly have their place in the rose garden.

Beautiful izzy, I love singles too... and nice to see La Mortola... we don't see that one too often... I've been wondering if I have some variation of that in my garden... please show more singles if you can..

Thank You for the kinds words;-) I love singles they are so romantic to me.

Portland I think Houzz recognize from which IP address I write my post since I have 3 devices that are logged on my profile. I wrote this post from my desktop, but sometimes I used my tablet. For sure they are not making it very user friendly...

Francis Lester. I just saw yesterday at High Country roses... So sweet along with another called the gift. Is there anything you could share about FL? I still have one more Rose to add to my order and I'm so conflicted! I hate decisions!

FL is a huge rose for me, I trained her along my fence, she is a once bloomer with some scattered blooms in the fall. I like her also when she doesn't bloom, she is healthy and great for a privacy screen. I water her only during the summer months for the rest of the year she fence for herself quite enthusiastically. I think I never put any fertilizer in the 10 years she has been in my garden.

Ragged Robin's seedling is a lovely array of sunrise colors! Can you tell me more about that one? Is it your own creation? Carol

Thanks Carol, the seedling is an OP of ragged robin from last winter. It’s the only one that was worth keeping. The leaves are a nice dark shade of green and blooms constantly. No diseases too. In the fall I’ll plant it in the ground and see what happens. I hope for a nice round bush shape. Most likely it’s beginner’s luck;)

Wow! That's fantastic, Izzy. Please keep us posted. Your RR seedling looks like a winner! I'm already completely charmed by it. Its colors remind me of Mutabilis.

It's been fun viewing your singles. Campanula used to post hers, but I haven't seen her around in awhile. There seem to be mostly voluptuous roses going around the forum, just as there are in my garden. I grow a few singles or just barely doubles, but not many. Bayse's Purple, Nearly Wild, Dusky Maiden, Kim Rupert's DFLED2 (not in commerce), Black Gold, and R alba Semi Plena. R. Helenae is too much rose for my space, but I love it. In full bloom--wow! Did you stop to smell the honey-scented blooms? :-) Carol

    Great selection Jeri!

I grow many singles but most flower early and are over now. Rosa x dupontii flowers later, a rose I like to show to people like my 9-year-old granddaughter who refuses to recognize it as a rose. I am educating her:
