My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Would this support a shade

Would like to install a sun shade that I would fasten by screwing into the underneath side of one of these cross sections. Would this frame be strong enough to support a shade?

    If you are just screwing the shade to the side of this 2x2, it can be done, but it's not a designed purpose - no way to guarantee the longevity of the build. Why wouldn't you use L angle?
