I agree! It is beautiful!!! It's such a young seedling, but it's blooming already?!

Thank you for the compliments.. Yes it really is that young.. Many of my plants from last Autumn's seeds are forming buds or are already in bloom.. I attribute their success to a weekly watering of 2 teaspoons of both kelp and fish fertilizer per 2 gallons of water about once a week... I recently sprinkled about a teaspoon of time release 10-30-10 fertilizer ( for growth and blooms) on the soil surface to be absorbed every watering and the plants appear to be very happy with all the "goodness" they are receiving.. . Seems to be a recipe for success so far.

Thanks for the tips! I have kelp (well it's liquid seaweed. That's the same right?), but need some fish fertilizer. Did you use fish emulsion liquid?

Paradiseprincess, what a beautiful white and a lovely shape to this one as well, good job! We too use liquid seaweed solution on our babies regularly, especially now that we are in Winter. We have also found that Mr Ko’s and Rinoa’s seed grown plants tend to flower early for us too. Good luck with the rest of your seedlings :)

Candice, and other readers, I buy from Lowe's hardware store the following:. Brand name for both is Alaska - "Pure Kelp Plant Food" 0.13-0-0.60 and "Fish Fertilizer" 5-1-1.. . The Kelp bottle says it contains 11 essential plant nutrients and can be used for root feeding in hydroponic gardening systems but is also all-purpose..

I bought the Alaska brand fish fertilizer today. I'll mix with my Maxicrop liquid seaweed that I already have. I'll try their brand kelp when I run out of this. Thank you!

Hello everyone - I'm new to this forum (in Venice, Florida) and new to raising seedlings and I'm just "hooked!" All of mine will be pink - seeds were taken from a friend's DR. Out of 36 planted, I have 27 wonderful green plants (4 months old).

Question - can you order seedlings at any time or is there a better time of year for them to be fresh? Also, I have never bid on e-bay and am not sure how it works. Where do you begin with the bidding for (example) a $.99 offer? Thanks for any comments.

Wow it's beautiful. Some say the all-white sometimes have a scent but you really have to get your nose in there. Do it and tell us if it's scented!
