kitchen table lighting dilemma

Here is my kitchen with lantern style pendant lights. My kitchen table and dining area is on the seating end of the island. My ceilings are 8 ft tall. I ordered the Ethan Allen Cooper table and am looking for a light to complement the island lighting. I like the Hinkley Hampton oil rubbed bronze drum light. It is 30 inches wide and 33 in in length. Would that be too low? I want a light 30 inches in diameter because the table is 60 inches in diameter. Would appreciate advice!!

Very pretty kitchen you have there! I like your lighting choice but I'd opt for a round drum shade since the table is round. Btw...the lanterns above the island seem a bit too high. A few inches lower would look better.

Agree with Darzy. I'd rather see a round fixture over your table and the lanterns a tad lower. Lovely kitchen!

Actually the drum shade is round, it just looks oval in the picture. My husband and I are both tall. We had the lanterns lower but shortened them. I’ll have to think about it.

Beautiful kitchn. The Hinkley Hmpton oil rubbed bronze drum fixture is an excellent option. As it will complement both the island fixtures and round table.

Lamps Plus- when the spec sheet says it is 32 inches in height, does that include the minimum amount of chain or only the fixture? Trying to confirm it doesn’t hang too low. Thanks!!
