Tomato leaf curl

last modified: 8 years ago

The past couple of weeks since transplanting my tomatoes outside their leaves have progressively become more and more curled, to the point where branches point directly down, and the upper surface of the leaf isn't visible. The plants surprisingly seem to be putting out flowers and fruit normally. At first I thought it was because of the cool weather we have been having, but over the past 4 or 5 days it has been quite warm, and the new growth seems to be coming in severely curled. The leaves seem very brittle and crack if you try to unroll them at all. There is some yellowing on the lower lower leaves of some of the plants with small brown spots. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this, and how I can address the problem? Thanks in advance.
