update 05/30/19

It lost some leaves when it was hit by the cold over winter. Recovering just fine. I see I will have to raise the soil level.

I had noticed the leaves weren't right so I looked for scale.. and found some. I removed it all last week but my question is, will these leaves change back to solid green or will it only be on the new growth? Will fertilizing help?

Thanks for any input. This is the first Navel Orange! I was hoping to keep one fruit on the tree this year.

I think it needs a good citrus fertilizer, Osmocote plus and fish emulsion. Not all at the same time of course. lol.

This Washington Navel Orange is going on it's second winter.

It only grows from Dec--June. It's starting to kick off.

Way to go Matt! Lots of new growths!

Mike, the only thing I have seen is the odd scale on the Navel. I never ended up fertilizing it after June. It's growing so no complaints!

Washington Navel. These are the most flowers it's ever produced. Bought it in June 2018.
