I read through the "new to kitchens" post several weeks ago and I thought there was a post that explained the differences between countertop options (granite, Quartz, Quartzite, wood, soapstone, etc.), but all I can find now is a post explaining surface finishes, seams, cracks/fissures, etc. Looks like it has lots of great information, but I'm still trying to decide which type of material to use. Is there a post somewhere that explains the pros/cons of each option? I searched Houzz and couldn't find it. Most information I find online, appears biased based on which material the company sells.
