Interesting. I’m able to make a new thread and post one picture with my original post. I tried more, but two is one too many. I suppose I can live with that, but it’s not as convenient. I’ll add a few in this comment. I’ve about half finished deadheading Mme. Alfred Carriere. She’s already putting out a few new blooms.

I am noticing that the oldest of MAC’s spent blooms have a brown shriveled stem, and fall right off. I need to look her up and see if she’s selfcleaning. That would be nice!

Today will be a day for some chores, mostly mulching and deadheading. Boscobel is about to get his much needed mulch. He recently shot up a taller cane, and he’s steadily putting out blooms,a few at a time. I’m very pleased with my very young ownroot baby Boscobel. Lisa

Lisa, I would love to have just a little piece of your zone for my MAC, a new own root band that still doesn't know where she wants to be planted. I know she will not reach the height and width of yours, but even a few of those blooms on a little bush will be wonderful.

Your MAC looks great! Also, Houzz is crazy if they think the problem is your device. We are all having problems. I found that when I tried to post with pictures, if I tried to type anything at all after I uploaded a picture, the web browser went totally blank, and I lost my post. Anyway, it can't be that SO MANY of us have bad devices. They need to work on their site.

I know it's been horrible here, and I tried another forum, but I can't bear to leave the many wonderful people here, including those from Europe such as Marlorena, bart, Melissa and Daisy. The situation in regard to posting has already improved quite a bit for me and I sincerely hope it does for others before we lose any more rose friends. I use an ad blocker and don't enter the site via Houzz so my contact with them is limited, which suits me very well. I hope you can all hang on a little longer; I do think the worst is behind us.
