Thank you Beverly. I have tons of oak cabinets in my kitchen on each end and throughout the sides. I have never seen so many kitchen cabinets. The kitchen adjoins the living room and dining area. I have oak floors throughout that area as well. My master bedroom is off the dining room with oak floors and oak cabinets in the bathroom.

Charlotte, seriously, you're asking us to imagine what this looks like? Interior design is visual effort. Post some pics if you expect to get any advice that is of value.

You start an ideabook to determine the look you want. Then you devise a plan to get the look. Your question is much too broad for any help here--you might want to hire a designer to help you with your vision.

Post pics for more and better advice. Does sound like you could lose some uppers in your kitchen.

I assume that you aren't getting rid of the oak flooring. You can replace the oak master bathroom cabinet. Sounds like you want to replace fireplace surround. We are waiting for pictures.
