Hi,

I overwatered my potted dieffenbachia two days ago and one of the two stems immediately started yellowing and weakening. The other stem is fine. The roots seem to be ok and I've removed soil from around the base of the problem stem so it can dry out quicker.

I'd love to know if there are any other steps I can take to save my plant. I've had it for about 6 years without any issue.

I keep it on the inside windowsill in my apt. I also have LED lights from growing a few other plants that I've set up in hopes of drying out the soil faster.

Any recommendations would be incredibly appreciated!!
