Too dark. What is your plan for waterproofing?

I think the dark is very elegant and will work well if your paint in the room is a lighter color (does not have to be white but should coordinate with your tub, tile etc. One thing to keep in mind is that if you live in an area with very hard, calcium rich water like Arizona, white spots will show up on your dark tile and ruin the look. If you are in that situation then I suggest you go with a lighter tile. Here are photos of a bath I did with dark flooring, medium tone paint and lighter tiles for the shower. This is in AZ where hard water is a problem.

I like the dark tile, but it doesn’t work with the floor for me. I prefer the floor to be darker and the wall tiles same or lighter. I’d pick up one of the gray tones from the floor and go with that on the wall.

I like the dark tile if you're going for an industrial look. Is this a tub without a shower? If a shower, what IS your plan for waterproofing?

If there's No plastic behind concrete board go buy some redguard and paint that area first

The tile is too dark. I don't think brown cabinet will go with your flooring or tile.

And what about that water proofing??

I am surprised everyone seems to like the floor tile. To me they looks like dirty old cement floors that were damaged with some chemical spill. I guess beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder!

With no natural light, have you considered how very dark this room will be?

As a follow-up (finally remembered my login for Houzz), this is what I went with. I’ve come to hate the floor tile so... the first excuse I find it’ll be replaced. Floor will eventually be something mid-grey with solid color or very little pattern.

for the floor tile, I agree with your not liking it when comparing to your shower tile (love that). For the floor tile, I suggest you stay away from the square tile shape and go more rectangular in shape. you might even consider a wood look tile laid in a herringbone pattern. when selecting your color, if you go gray as you said here, stay away from any blue grays - you need a warm gray that has brown or tan undertones.
