Help Please. We recently moved and our dark furniture in a dark living room needs help! I am wanting to add color with furniture, but so far all our furniture is darn in this room and the adjoining dining room. To change ALL TWO end tables according to hubby is a waste of money.
I need a small accent piece under the TV (hot mess). It has to be under 30 inches high unless I can get hubby to raise TV. What we’re doing now is temporary and doesn’t work.
Also, the “empty wall” needs something. I am thinking it should help lighten up the room and maybe match in color with what I end up with under the TV. I do have a picture to go there.
Should I add a table behind the couch? When you enter the room from the front door there is a long entry about 3 feet wide and a step down into the living room. The couch has electric recliners (notice the cords). I can push it up against the step or another table. Too much furniture is what I’m thinking.
I know I can lighten this room up with a rug, but for summer I want to keep the house cooler. We live in N CA, E of Sacramento and it gets hot here! I love the covered patio, which is my place to unwind and relax. opinions on color of additional furniture and how much more furniture needed. Thank you!! Dianne
