gentek siding colour

I need some colour help from a pro for siding colour choice. we are putting siding in the gables. The trim and windows will be windswept smoke. Trying to decide if the siding should be pebble or iron ore. I have a photo with iron ore, canyon clay, pebble and windswept samples nailed in gable. and I will post a photo of a house with iron ore siding with windswept smoke trim. I really like the look of the iron ore siding but I'm wondering if it will look too dark at the top of house.
