and no.. i dont see from the pic... why its called artichoke ... i think of those as spiky and spiny ... maybe ill give you the color ...

without a scale.. i cant guess at size ... but im sure thats basically it ... the clump may grow wider.. but i dont expect it to mature to a lager leafed plant ...

Your plant reminds me of Teaspoon...maybe it's related?

It looks kind of like an artichoke to me. The leaves are about the right size. Not as spiky, but more like an artichoke than Blueberry Waffles is like a waffle.

I've hunted the Net, hosta library, and Zillis' books with no luck. I was just hoping someone else bought one and knew more than "someplace in Missouri".

It could be related to Teaspoon, but it's about a third that size. It's probably just a seedling someone gave a name, divided, and sold.
