What color are the legs of the chair. I see a peek of one, but can't tell.

Love the chair. I don't like the first paint color though. The others don't bother me and I'm sure even the first will look great but something about Mellow Coral is bringing up bad memories. :) I like the more delicate attitude of the other two.

I had a lovely peachy color on the walls in our MBR in Los Angeles. I chose lots of white linen with it. It did not look girly at all.

You might want to look at BM Ansonia Peach. I remember someone had posted pictures of it in a bedroom quite awhile back and I loved it. Google for room images of it also.

I have a color similar to peach fuzz throughout my house. Most of the day, it looks like a neutral. For reference, my paint color is Behr Porcelain Skin.

Wow! That really doesn't look peachy pink on screen. But I promise, those are its characteristics in person.

This is so hard. My master bedroom is quite small, something like 11 x 12. Much of the wall space is taken up by furniture or the windows/drapes.

I'd like the space to feel light and energizing, so I'm not inclined to go with dark colors even though they could be lovely.

Maybe I'll run to Benjamin Moore today.

Of all the colors you sampled, the one that catches my eye is the last pic with the 3 chips - the largest chip on the left with a dark icon in the corner (I can't see a name). I do like the dark blue colors to set off the chair, but understand your desire for a lighter space.

I like the palest one on the first picture on the chair...My closet is a very very pale peach, done so because I read that peach is the most flattering to skin tone...I figured if I was going to stand there and get dressed, I would do my damnedest to make it a less traumatizing task.

I just love peach tones anyway. Just..please rethink the gray drapes?

I would go with a warm white wall and lots of pink accents again. Or go with something that doesn't look "pink" more looks like it has slight pink undertones. Once you get it on the wall it will look ""definitely pink" but not "omg pink". Something like BM Ballet White lightened 25%.

You’re buying sample pots first, right? I can’t recall if I read that or not and I’m too lazy to go back and look! ;)

some Sherwin Williams pinky/coral colors I recently looked at were:

White Dogwood. Intimate White, Faint Coral, Youthful Coral, and Mellow Coral.

BM colors were Peach cloud and Sunlit Coral.

Years ago a popular pink/peach was BM Opal. I used it in my DD's room. Not as vibrant as your choices, but we got lots of compliments and inquiries about the color.

You said you didn't want to have this look like a little girls room. Is there a man present? That would make a difference in the suggestions (to me anyway)..

I also would suggest going with a very pale shade-the walls will reflect off of each other and make the peachy pink feel brighter. It can be very flattering in a bedroom.

Search Houzz for peach bedroom and you’ll find a whole article with photos. Two points: 1) peach needn’t look girlie, especially combined with black, and 2) light makes a huge difference in how the color looks, I.e., the more light, the softer and lighter it looks.

Of the samples you showed, I like Peach Fuzz the best. Pink walls will make the room feel warm and seductive and therefore attractive to men. It will also create an flattering light for you complexion. I would also be okay with gray drapes in that room, especially if they are velvet.

Went by Benjamin Moore today and found some potential colors. Tissue Pink and Peach Parfait.

Peach a Parfait is more peach of course. Do you think I should go more pink to coordinate with the chair?

I'm not sure this will go with your chair, but I thought it was a pretty peach color. BM Light Salmon.

I'm going to pick up a sample pot of BM Tissue pink today. I left the chips up all day and I think Peach Parfait is too intense/clear of a color. I also found some drapes at west elm that might either match or compliment the Tissue pink color nicely. I was thinking of doing dark gray drapes to match the color in the chair but I think that might be too much contrast. What do you think about velvet drapes the same color as the wall? They have a bit of luster.

What does the room and the furniture look like?

The room is so small it's hard to get a photograph of much. I'll try to put together a layout. Here are some of the items I have for the room. I'm not opposed to getting rid or replacing the furniture, I do want to see if it might work together first. The white IKEA dresser and desk have silver knobs. I'm also not committed to the velvet drapes.

For artwork I have some black and white photos of my kids, or I was thinking of some inexpensive prints maybe of vintage vogue magazine covers or Erte. The IKEA hemnes secretary cabinet will house my sewing machine so I'm leaning towards fashioned themed artwork (two prints max). I don't want the room to look like a teen girls though, with thre blush tones and artwork.

The tissue pink was my frontrunner :)
Can you get a sample of the curtains? It's tricky trying to match stuff, because if it's really close but not quite, it looks weirder than if you purposely mismatched. I like the idea of a grey velvet curtain. But a deep almost charcoal gray, not a cementy one. And a matching upholsterered tufted headboard?

Btw, I know you said you didn't want your room to look like a teen girls room.. but you should seriously check out the Emily and Merritt collection on pbteen. Great bedding and bedframes that won't be childish with the right accents.

Oh my! It's going to be so glam and chic...keep going. It will be fab.
