should it stay or go

I have this dead stump that stands as a piece of landscape artistry in my front side yard. previous owners thought it was wonderful. its covered with ivy. and is in the centre . it adds me height to the space. my dilemma is I don't know if I like it. so i need your help deciding . Also if you decide it should go what should I put there instead. here are the most recent pictures. . I will be replanting the whole space . so any advice would be appreciated . thank you.

I like to let nature be nature where I can, but from your picture I’m not a fan of the stump and I’d say get rid of it. Can you replace it with a nice specimen tree that grows in your area?

I would remove it. Please post pictures of the house direct on from the sidewalk. One that points forward, one that turns left and one that turns right. You will stand in the same place for all three.

It's not a fit. If you had a specialty garden recreating an under-sea vibe, maybe it would fit in that, but otherwise, adios.

It looks like it's time to turn the monster shrub at the right, into a tree form.

@yardvaark I had a good laugh at the undersea vibe comment.. now it definitely has to go. thank you everyone! lots of work for me now. I am trying to plan a contemporary garden.. not sure how to do that . if you'll have any ideas or pictured you'll would like to recommend please do. this all has been very helpful. thank u
