Where would 8x10 be placed as far as legs of bed and nightstand? Seems only one set of legs would be on rug. Thoughts?

the rug doesn't need to go underneath the night stand. If you place it 10' wide under the bed you would start it about 2' out from wall after the nightstands and it would extend out past the base of the bed.

Bedroom area rug placement:

You want your feet to hit it when you get out of bed.
