I don't see any witches broom type growth so it looks normal to me. Keep an eye on it.

Looks good to me, too. The bronzy/red new growth and thorniness are not unusual for Tropicana. Just keep up with good care, and try to get it into the ground, and watch it take off. Just the same, keep a eye on it, as we all do on all our roses since the advent of RRV. That's a nice looking Tropicana, an older, but still great hybrid tea.

K Rod, do you have any updates on this rose. I’ve been a little worried about it.

Here is an updated picture of Tropicana. It has some small blooms coming but some of the foliage has died. I think whatever they were spraying it with sis not sit well with it. Any suggestions on that??

Thank you for that update. It’s good to see the rose looking nice and healthy. Blame the rest on the weather.
