Countertop was used for backsplash

The previous owner used the same material for backsplash as the countertop. It is about 3/4" off the wall. It was covered with quarter round. I really don't want to pull it down because it will be a lot of sheetrock work. I want to cover it with Fasade plastic tin tile look product but I can't find edging deep enough to cover the side. Any ideas? Pics attached. Thanks!!

Do you have photos? I think you might need to pull it down. I know that would mean sheetrock work but I am not sure that a plastic tin could stick to a stone backsplash. I am hoping others will chime in and give some professional advice. I could be wrong, just wondering if this is possible.

Any 3/4” stone is going to look better than fake plastic tin.
