I was thinking of adding some green

I think the green wall colour would be great. Oldbobbi's ideas are great, adding to that ditch the sofa cushions, they will be too bland.

Also the brightness of the table seems too glaring...can it be painted ? maybe brown or dark grey/brown?

Can you split up the sectional? It seems too massive for the space and seems like it would not be easy to have conversation. Perhaps a piece could "float" in the room.

Panel curtains would make the most sense if you could pull the furniture away from the wall.

Bonnielynn, I think splitting up the sofa would be a fabulous idea. The two long pieces could face each other, and the corner piece could stand alone, facing the TV, maybe with a side table?

A more integrated color scheme for the entire living spaces would be ideal.

Thanks all for the comments .. I will add green accessories and cushions but am scared of painting the walls in green i prefer wall paper what do u think .. For the side table and tv console which color is better ? White ? I need a bright living room .. Ideas please ?

Am not pleased with the kitchen what can i do ?

There are many great green wallpapers here, and if you want a bright living room then white tables are your ticket: http://www.houzz.com/photos/products/green-wallpaper

Alya, start a separate dilemma for the kitchen :))

I would like to see the colors from the rug used throughout - blue curtains, green accessories and the silvery gray for the dining chairs. They'd be easy to slipcover.

Olldboobi how can i do that ?

Deco do u think purple chairs should be changed ?

Alya, just start a new dilemma the same way you started this one, but give it a different title, like "Kitchen Help". Then the first three pictures you post should be of your kitchen area, the fourth should be the living room. That way all the colors will be coordinated.

Ok thanks will do it in a while
