The homeowners chose frosted glass. Yes, it is less likely to show spots. It also provides a sense of privacy that you don't get from clear glass. It can make the room seam smaller though. Frosted glass costs more than clear glass. Note that I took this photo before the decorative cover on the drain was installed. This shower was installed where there had been a bathtub. It was done in a way so that it would not be too difficult to change it back to a tub in case the next homeowners wanted a tub (as required by the luxury condo association).
