My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Tesselating Star baby quilt

You've seen this top before, but I just had to show you the finished quilt. I was so excited to find this Shannon Cuddle (minky) backing with the perfectly colored alligators on it. They added the perfect touch of whimsy to the quilt. It's a shower gift for our nephew and his wife for their first-born.

    Not that I can tell. It's so simple. Why would you paper piece? Even if you join the diagonal strips as you would a binding seam (I used a HST and a square), it is simple. And there is little or no waste, unlike in paper-piecing.
