Getting started.

last month

I read a comment by a quilter saying the hardest part sometimes is getting started. You have the pattern and a collection of fabrics. But…does this colour go with this colour? Is this too busy? etc. etc.

That is where I am right now. I want to make a small quilt for a good neighbour. I am not sure of their decorating style but want to keep it relatively simple and ’elegant’ as opposed to totally scrappy, but I don’t want to go shopping for fabric. I have two good choices for the main fabric but it is the two or three other pieces that have me waffling. I have been going through possibilities for several days and have decided to just get on with it and start cutting. But…but…

Do you ’suffer’ this problem?

Theresa
