I was really bogged down on what I thought I was going to cut today, so put that project on the back burner and did the cutting for a totally different quilt. Much simpler, less head scratching.

You could get sneaky and ask the neighbour next time you see her for her opinion on the fabric choices. Say you’re struggling to decide what goes together best and you need an outside opinion 😉

This is the quilt that was made while I am still puzzling over the one to be made as a gift.

It could easily qualify as a ’quilt in a day’, but my days seem to last much longer.

It is also a three yard quilt. It went together quite easily, it just took me a lot longer than I hoped. I found the printed fabric in a bin while looking for something else.

Now to clean up the sewing area before I start something else. it is going to be blistering hot this week, so maybe I should stay in the cooler basement and be productive.

Tomorrow is our 72nd anniversary!! Nothing planned.

What a milestone - 72 years! Happy anniversary. Just for fun, I googled the longest marriage. It's for David and Sarah Hiller who were married for just short of 89 years in the 1800's.
