kitchenette design advice

Hi, I am wondering about paint colours, counters, cabinet colours, backsplash etc. in our new kitchenette. The floor tiles are quite peach so I'm am stumped for what colours would look good. The cabinets are maple and haven't been finished. Maple is very difficult to stain, so I am considering either a natural finish or painting them. Any suggestions?

I have included a picture of the kitchen and of our bathroom with a closer picture of the tiles. The kitchen has a lighter gray grout.

They should have been stained or painted off site.

My dad made them. He will be taking the doors off to stain or paint.

Paint vs. stain is personal preference here - which do you like better? The natural finish would be somewhat similar to your existing cabinets already.

Have you thought about adding hardware to the cabinets when you're finished painting / staining them? There are a lot of options out there for you!

I would opt for a fairly natural stain. I think they look nice as they are.

Alternatively if you prefer a painted finish, white is always classic and I think it would work well with your floors. You may need to play around with the right white since something too cool / blue will bring out the orange in the tiles.
