Zagara Bianca, the most commonly grown lemon in Sicily, is thought to be a Femminello comune mutation of very old age, others think it is of a hybrid orientation.. The new foliage growth is green in color like an orange,, and its white flowers have no red coloration typical of all lemons.

Was the seller on Ebay here in the US? Sometimes people get lucky and find interesting varieties there. Not me, but then I don't trust people on ebay. I swear you are the luckiest person finding stuff online. lol.

Denise, he’s out of NJ. It was a gamble, but it is rare here, so I couldn’t pass it up lol. I know we are in a quarantine state, but none of my trees will be shipped out (or even leave my house) and I’m 2-3 hours from the closest grove.

That is a complicated listing, Denise - I'm not sure I would have found it either. There's not much on the internet about the variety other than what Silica said. I'm so easily tempted by these old Italian varieties. Kelley keep us posted on how it does. Maybe I'll have to check back to see if the seller still has them next year.

Alanna, I absolutely will - I hope it grows enough to provide updates. It does have several swollen buds, but I think is grafted to grapefruit, so it may be slow growing?

Denise, he packed it exceptionally well - no leaf loss or soil disruption at all. The box he had it in said “leave in shade” and it fit in my mailbox lol.

I was given a citrus tree by one of my neighbors ( again), it is in a gigantic heavy container without holes in it, had tree types of bugs all over the tree. I need some advice from experts here, will take some pictures and post it in a new thread.
