Looks like the whites don't work to me either. Trust your gut. The tile has a more blue undertone maybe??

I love the backsplash and the cabs, but I'm not sure they work with the counters? Hard to tell by the photo and lighting...

never aim to do a perfect match. What you have chosen looks good. a cool white is the white appliance on your counter. You are right where you need to be.

Based on my screen, the tile looks good with the cabinets.

herbflavor has a good point...your tile and cabs look more warmish compared to the appliance white gadget on your counter.

To my eye the tile seems fine. Are you sure the cool color of the spacers isn't throwing you off?

lindsjoyr, did you already paint one cabinet or is that a sample up there? I too think the dark cabs are so pretty with your appliances. If it were me, just grout and then live with it. If you want to paint cabs later, then go for it. (And hide the white coffee grinder ;-)). You have fab appliances and the backsplash is beautiful and classic and will be easy to clean.... You did a beautiful job!

I think it looks fine. Have you thought of doing a very light gray grout? Then you won't have two solid whites. It also will tie in with the counter top.

Layers of slightly different whites is easier to live with vs. all the whites matching. It's the difference between a crisp white kitchen and weirdly institutional.

Have you made a descision on what you are going to do? Paint the cabinets whiter?
