Hi all,

Please take a look at these weird cucumbers growing in my garden. I am not sure of the type, as the seed packet is buried under the foliage and probably too weathered to read. I don't believe the picture looked like this, and I don't remember anything about them except that they were supposed to be burpless.

They are terribly spiny, but after being wiped they are smooth and when cut, definitely smell like cucumbers. We can eat them, right?

I do worry about these things because of the time I planted an eggplant and got a datura plant instead, which superficially resembles an eggplant plant but is deadly poisonous!
