Help with creating an accent wall with metallic paint

We would like to paint our dining room wall a metallic color. It is an open floor plan and I would like to match the paint with the bottom of my drapes in the living room. Also, any tips on application and paint brand that is best would be appreciated.

    I’ve never used metallic paint but I’ve read it can be very unforgiving. Stated you need a very even coat or it will look streaky, and would reflect any imperfection the same way a higher gloss paint would. Not sure as Ive never used it but seems to make sense. I like the grasscloth suggestion as it looks great in diningrooms.
