I'm ready to screen my bag of decomposed granite, Turface MVP, and fine fir bark with the intention of mixing up some gritty mix. The screens I currently have available are a 5 mm (approx 3/16") mesh a 2.5 (approx 3/32") mm mesh, and insect screen.

I'm planning on keeping any material that goes through the 5 mm screen and gets stopped by the insect screen.

I'm hoping someone can tell me if that is correct. I have looked through older posts, but the information is a little bit contradictory.
