replanking a Deck

I am in the process of selecting materials to replank my deck. Currently it’s treated wood and I’m replacing my deck boards with TimberTech Amazon Mist. My dilemma is my current rail and deck posts are 5.5x5.5 wooden posts. I. Wonky found one manufacturer that make sleeves for this size posts which is RDI (Railing Dynamics Inc.). It is a vinyl material. My question to my fellow Houzzers is if it is common to mix railing material. For example mixing the vinyl post sleeve and caps with an actual composite railing? I am on the fence between using an all vinyl railing system that will allow me to attach a deck board as the handrail or go will a vinyl post paired with composite rails, and balusters. The only reason I’m redoing my deck is because a former contractor placed Deck paint and not stain on my wood. It’s a color I simply cannot not live with and I waited until everything needed to be replace to start my renovation. Deck is 12 years old so it’s time. My Substructure is still good.
Thank you in advance. I appreciate any input you may have.
