I have some crabgrass that looks fat and mature in parts of my lawn.

Over the counter quinclorac is not supposed to work well when crabgrass is really mature.

But what if you cut crabgrass down to the soil level, and leave the root in the ground?

Will crabgrass start over from the "immature" stage where quinclorac can be effective on it?
