Need help with weird peach disease, please!

I planted a dwarf peach tree three or so years ago. First and second years, not much fruit; third year, the squirrels got them all before they even ripened! So this is my first year with a bumper crop along with fewer squirrels, lucky me! HOWEVER, many, if not most, have some weird thing going on with what looks like bruising, but are really brown areas under the skin. Does anyone know what it is and how to prevent it in the future? Looks like a bug, perhaps, that gets under the skin? Other than this, and when I cut around them, the peaches are beautifully, wonderfully sweet and delightful! I will do what it takes to prevent a repeat next season. Please see photos; advice greatly appreciated. Thank you!
