placed them on my balcony (south exposure, full sun, very warm).

i would not have put a freshly repotted plant into full sun.. for at least a week or two ... giving the roots time to settle.. and then get to properly pumping water ...

i would move it out of sun .... and water properly.. and give them time .... look toward new growth.. as an indication of how they are doing currently ...

do you have any idea.. if they were grown in full sun ... before you bought them???

as to intensity of sun.. where are you???

many thanks for your kind answer. The plants were grown in full sun; I live in Ticino, south part of Switzerland (sub tropical climate).

I'll move the plants out of the sun, leaving them on the balcony, but in a more shaded spot.
