I like the gray second from the right, not white.

Chimney will need to be painted something, and the painter is, of course, thinking the same color as house color.

The main thing is to have a color that does not make your house look like a concrete driveway that was just poured. I think you can do that with a variation in colors and textures, in your case some landscaping eventually.. Paint the home at least a medium pigment color to add richness to it, if the roof stays. Paint it a charcoal gray for sure, or a tone you see as rich. Outside paint colors have so much light exposure, you will need more pigment in the paint to see what color it is...Your soffits are white, as your windows and door is. You can paint the window trim that have those exterior wood frames, maybe the**! darker gray version of your medium gray walls. Your chimney can be the **!darker gray trim color you put on that set of windows I think, if it is stucco. If the chimney is brick than dye <www.dyebrick.com> it the deepest charcoal color you can find paint that matches it for the window wood frame... The chimney, probably should match one of the colors on the house. I can see the benefit of having it darker. I think a medium charcoal gray on your home with a darker gray on that window frame & chimney and your white trim eaves/overhang, doors, and windows themselves, with the existing roof, would be very nice. Plants like yellow and pink roses or other varigated shrubs or flowers will make that a beautiful home! If you choose to paint the garage door, paint it the same color as your home walls are, for sure. Your home will look more finished and have a nice presence to those that drive by.

Change the color of the chimney first....that is alot of roof to cover, but easier than covering the roof and the walls, if the walls are changed to the lighter shade, first..What colors will you use? Keep us all posted. Thanks!

Making the decision at the end whether to paint windows themselves iron ore, black or leave white.

Unlikely you can paint the windows themselves Iron Ore. It's too dark. Most windows, if you can paint them at all, have to be painted in a color that has the same LRV as the original color or lighter. Because darker colors absorb light energy that can then cause buckling, warping, etc.

Don't bother painting your windows. It is much easier to paint stucco a medium hue color and leave the windows white. Really. They are fine white. Don't get caught in the weeds. The paint will blister off, I fear!!!! Stucco will hold the paint. . Go with a charcoal gray on your walls, leave the whites on the eaves and overhangs, and windows...Do your dark trim around the windows that have the wood surround. Do your darker color on the chimney. It will be very nice. Your white windows are just fine. Give the stucco what it needs. Some pigment applied to enrich it . Not sure Argos is enough, but after 2 coats you will know if it is rich enough for you.

Redsilver great feedback and points, I do just like the darker windows.... But that is up in the air right now...When you say do your dark trim around the windows you are referring to the iron ore right?

House and Chimney are Stucco

Yes, hopefully, Argos is enough. Are you saying darker Chimney Iron ore, even with Argos?

Hopefully, dont have to have house repainted, not super cheap.

Doors are also planned to be Iron ore. Garage door painter wants to do White, but will do either house color or white agrees both will look good. I am up in the air. If my wife lets me try the chimney might give her the white garage ;) lol.

Don't make the doors a dark iron ore is it? color. Psyche says," No one wants to enter a dark hole." If this painter is a hired hand, I don't know about his taste in paint. If he is yourself, well, I know you are wavering about the project, just cannot tell if you are referring to yourself on both roles? However, the garage doors are not trim, they are house wall. Make them the medium tone you have planned for your walls, IF you need to or planned to paint them at all. They should be the wall. DO not make them as dark as trim. A little dark goes a long way on a homey home....you don't want a home that is bleak or depressing...part of the reason you need the white windows on that cloudy day, you will be glad they are white.....Garage doors, they are not trim. Do paint the Wood boards around your one set of windows a dark color, Iron Ore. The white window will show off nicely. The dark color iron ore, can be nice on your chimney and the bit of window surround -dark trim only, the board surface on the window would tie in with the chimney. If I had time, I would try to find a more cheery color for your iron ore, or your gray plans, but if you landscape it, at all, do find some colors on the color wheel that like gray, other than white which is will help the gray be a lighter mood, --but some pink, peach, coral, & a pretty Yellow, is especially good... will really perk up the home along with variagated greenery/flowering shrubs, snowball bushes, etc. WIth your home, I would even venture to say that just the right shade of Navy Blue, might be very very nice in the areas you are planning on using Iron Ore......but that would start a whole new thread..
