Moved a mulberry and killed it?

We have volunteer mulberry trees all over our yard. I tried to move one and apparently killed it. It had been growing in the landscaping around our hot tub. I carefully dug it up and planted it in a large bucket of soil to move it to a spot in the yard. I checked on it a few hours later and the entire thing is wilted and limp. I made sure the pot was well watered when I moved it. 24 hours later it is still completely limp.

Any idea how to move these without killing them? We have a couple near the house foundation we need to move soon.

    I don't know about those but I once moved a Chinese Privet and thought for sure I killed it. Once it went limp and started looking bad I made a point of putting a hose near the base and let the water trickle for about an hour or so every evening. I didn't think it would work but figured it couldn't hurt. To my surprise that darn thing bounced back. It couldn't hurt to try it. I think the tree may be in shock and needs a little TLC.
