My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I'm on a roll!!

I had to share my accomplishments today with my quilting friends who could appreciate what I've done. I sandwiched one quilt and sewed the backings for four other UFOs. So now I have two sandwiches ready to quilt, four tops/backings ready to sandwich and only one top that I have to buy backing for. I am so excited. I finally feel like I am getting a handle on my UFOs. I'm going to try not to start another top until I get these all quilted. We'll see if I can discipline myself enough to do this.

    Wow, Lois, what a day! Good for you. I reorganized my sewing closet last weekend and put all my UFOs in bins. Sad to say there are two bins of my own UFOs and one of my Mom's. That's not counting the tops to be quilted (there are four of those).

    I keep saying I'm not starting anything new till I finish things, but obviously I'm not following my own advice. :)
