Seeking Darlana pendant size advice

I keep changing my mind about island pendants, but we are meeting with the electrician on Monday to decide on final placement so I need to have a plan.

Island is 9' x 3.5' with a sink in the middle. Ceiling is 9'. Placing a can above the sink. Would 2 small Darlana lanterns be big enough, or should I go bigger? Cabinet, counter, and appliance selections are very simple (white and ss). Planning on the nickel finish for the lanterns.

I was looking to see if someone responded to my post and yours was unanswered too so I'm going to answer! I'm definitely no designer but I have a designer and my island is 8' wide and we are doing 3 mini pendants which are 10" diameter and I believe the pendants here are around 12" in diameter. Here is a photo of the current (before remodel) since we are doing similar size pendants. I hope this helps you.

I have the darlana pendant in my master bathroom and small is bigger than you would expect. I took a look at the circa website and all the photos of islands have two small pendants. Here are some photos. My only tip-BEFORE your electrician leaves- take a step back and look at the pendants to make sure they are straight and not skewed!
