We have made an offer on a house that has a very special master bath. The toilet and tub/shower are in their own space separated from the vanity with a pocket door. The toilet/tub room has a mirrored ceiling and the wall directly across from the toilet is also mirrored (with a phone jack so we can conveniently mount a wall phone there). Who wants to watch themselves sitting on the toilet? Who does this crazy stuff?? Was this something that was popular for a few minutes and I missed it, or is it me?

We plan on totally redoing this space—think 1970s orange and brown tile, etc.— so we don't really care, but it strikes me as a bit weird.
