Mine also. This far north it’s sometimes a race for bloom before frost.

Where did you buy yours? I’m planning on buying some some at Michigan bulb

I actually got mine at Home Depot. Puny little things. Took a while to grow and bloom.

TT Novie, if you haven’t yet ordered from Michigan Bulb, don’t. Many of us have made that mistake early in our gardening careers, but you don’t need to. 5 inexpensive plants become 1 expensive plant if 4 of them arrive dead. The Garden Watchdog is a great resource for evaluating on line nurseries, with evaluations written by gardeners who have ordered from them. While most nurseries have a few unhappy customers, if more than 1/4 are unhappy, you don’t want to order from them. If like Mich. Bulb, you consistently have over 50% unhappy over a great many years, you shouldn’t have to think twice about running fast in the other direction.

I just placed a bunch of orders with them. I’m very nervous. I’m not sure what to expect. The price was so good. Being a New Gardener, I went for it. They just shipped my orders so too late for me now. I will keep you guys posted on how my plants are doing. Thank you for the advice.

What is done is done. Perhaps you will be in the pleased 40% of MB customers, but you might do better to visit local nurseries for their end of season sales for large plants, or a reliable budget friendly online nursery such as Santa Rosa Gardens for your next purchases. SR has good end of season sales. Of the dozen or so plants I bought from MB many, many years ago (back in the prehistoric days before the internet) more than half arrived dead and I think that only 3 survived since all were in terrible shape and tiny, and I think that is the most common experience with their plants. Take photos of what arrives in case you need proof of condition.
