Wall paint delimma

last modified: 8 years ago

Hi everyone, I just found out that my bathroom had eggshell sheen, which is creating the moisture problem in the bathroom. So while I'm at it, I decided to look into repainting the condo since I do find the walls a little too yellow for my taste. However, I can't decide if I should keep the yellow tone and go lighter, or a greyish white, or a white with a little brown undertone. I've seen too many swatches, but don't know which works best to update the overall look + offer best function with most amount of light. Also, do you recommend Satin for bathrooms? I would appreciate any insight you could share, as this is my first time choosing paint and running a diy operation! My living room has a North exposure and bedroom has a good east light. Current paint is Benjamin Moore Monroe bisque, with cloud white trim and ceiling. Bathrooms get no natural light (no windows) and have grey floor tile. I will keep the floor, trim and ceiling the same.
