Price isnt too bad but for the same price you can probably get a much higher end window such as Okna, soft lite ,sunrise, ot kensington.

harvey is maybe an average window at best, nothing special at all. The others i mentioned make very solid windows. Nicer looking, more air tight and efficient.

what state are you located in?

+1. Harvey makes and OK window, but inside of their ownership group they now own Soft-Lite which makes a higher end product in their Imperial LS and Elements window. If he can source Harvey, he should easily be able to buy the other as well.

Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for considering Harvey windows.

We would recommend that you ensure you are comparing apples to apples when determining if a price is high or low and whether or not another window company has better offerings in the same range. Harvey offers three product lines for Vinyl Double Hung Windows: Slimline, Classic (a customer favorite), and the Tribute premium vinyl window. Our windows are tested to rigorous standards in our on-site testing lab, so our customers feel confident they’re purchasing a durable window that will stand the test of time—and they can be customized to achieve a specific look, if you choose.

Your best bet is to have at least 3 reliable contractors quote the same window of the same performance, grade, and options.

Also consider what kind of warranty is included from the manufacturer—Harvey has one of the most competitive in the industry (lifetime on vinyl, screening, and mechanical parts for the original owner, 20 year transferability, and 20 year on glass failure for vinyl windows—see website for full details) backed by a customer service team of real people, ready to answer your questions or address concerns you have with your Harvey products.
