Yellow Grass Problems

Located in eastern Nebraska and am having trouble with my lawn. I have loamy clay soil and can’t keep my grass green. I mow it at 3 1/4 inches and water several times a week for 45 minutes per station. I have also fertilized twice this season (May and early July). The lawn/sod was laid in September 2017. Any tips on how to improve the color and health of the lawn are much appreciated!
